Job summary

Sowelo Consulting is seeking a Junior IT Specialist to join the Managed Service division in Germany. The role delivers L2 support for workstations, mobile devices, and standard software, while managing hardware assets across their lifecycle.

You will coordinate with regional IT leaders and collaborate with global IT teams. The position is onsite or hybrid in the Düsseldorf/Cologne area, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting, asset management, and end-user support.

Qualifications

Up to 1 year of professional IT support experience or practical IT training/education.
Foundational knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, Outlook, and PC hardware troubleshooting (HP).
Basic understanding of service desk ticketing systems and IT asset lifecycle management.
Ability to provide clear, customer-oriented support via phone, email, and on-site assistance.
Fluent German and communicative English (minimum B1).

Responsibilities

Provide L2 support for Windows 11 PCs, mobile devices, iPads, and standard software.
Log, diagnose, resolve, and escalate tickets in the ticketing system.
Manage full lifecycle hardware asset workflows (deploy, receive, ship, process returns).
Assist with hardware upgrades and configurations via deployment tools (Company Portal).
Troubleshoot email clients (Outlook), Office 365, and Citrix environments.
