Job summary

Aon is seeking a Claims Handler to manage complex insurance claims end-to-end across travel, property, liability, motor and health. You will register claims, verify documents, assess coverage and monitor progression with insurers and clients.

The role involves contributing to process improvements, documentation, and cross-border collaboration, with daily use of English and German. Proficiency in MS Excel and strong attention to detail are important.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance claims handling or strong motivation to develop in claims.
• Good knowledge of insurance market and products.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end handling of complex insurance claims across multiple lines.
• Registration and setup of new claims in internal systems.
• Verification and analysis of claim documentation.
• Assessment of coverage per policy terms and guidelines.
• Monitor progress and follow up with insurers, clients, stakeholders.
• Address client and stakeholder queries about claim status.
• Ensure files are complete, accurate, and well documented in the system.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, quality standards and SLAs.
• Participate in process improvements and automation projects.
• Support transition of new claims processes to the team.
• Provide trainings for new joiners and support colleagues.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation.
• Suggest changes to tools and documentation for effective service delivery.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines with high quality.
