Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance claims handling or motivation to develop in claims
• Good knowledge of the insurance market and basic understanding of insurance products
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Ability to analyse cases and processes and identify areas for improvement
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• English – level B2 and Spanish – level C1 proficiency
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage priorities

Responsibilities

• Handling the FNOL (First Notice of Loss) process of the claim
• Registration and set-up of new claims in internal systems
• Verification and analysis of claim documentation (policies, endorsements, invoices, medical / expert reports, correspondence)
• Assessment of coverage in line with policy terms and conditions and internal guidelines (within granted authority)
• Handling queries from clients and stakeholders regarding claim status and next steps
• Ensuring that all claim files are complete, accurate and properly documented in the system
• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, quality standards and service level agreements
• Participating in projects aimed at improving and automating claims processes
• Participating in transition and migration of new claims processes to the team
• Proposing process and/or system improvements to the team manager
• Conducting trainings for new joiners as well as support of less experienced colleagues
• Ensuring process documentation is up to date
• Suggesting and implementing changes to tools and documentations needed to support effective service delivery
• Participating actively in problem solving
• Working closely with team and stakeholder to ensure that all work is carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard
