Bechtel is seeking a Timekeeping Specialist for the AP1000 Project in Lubiatowo, Poland. You will maintain and verify timesheets, ensure payroll data accuracy, and support onboarding and mobilization activities on a major nuclear construction program.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor accurate timekeeping records for employees and project personnel.

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of timekeeping data for payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with project management, HR, Payroll, and employees to resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor compliance of timekeeping records with labor regulations and policies.
  • Prepare reports on attendance, absenteeism, overtime, and workforce activities.
  • Enter and update employee information in HR, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
  • Support onboarding, mobilization, and demobilization activities.
  • Support internal control processes by ensuring data completeness and timeliness.

Project Overview:

Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ). Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, and we are looking for the talent that will help expand Poland's nuclear base and build a strong and long-lasting energy future for generations to come. This position is subject to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) regulations at 10 CFR Part 810 (Part 810), which govern the transfer of hardware, materials, and technology to support the construction and operation of commercial nuclear power plants overseas.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will perform and oversee timekeeping activities for the AP1000 Project, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of employee time records while meeting weekly project deadlines. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to maintain confidentiality, a customer service mindset, and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic construction environment. Your work will help ensure accurate labor reporting, workforce administration, timely craft payroll processing and on-time payments to onsite Craft Professionals.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor accurate timekeeping records for employees and project personnel.
  • Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, overtime hours, absences, and shift schedules.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of timekeeping data required for payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with project management, HR, Payroll, and employees to resolve timekeeping discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Monitor compliance of timekeeping records with labor regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports on attendance, absenteeism, overtime, and workforce activities.
  • Enter, maintain, and update employee information in HR, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
  • Support employee onboarding, mobilization, and demobilization activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support internal control processes by ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of timekeeping data.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, or currently pursuing a degree, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in personnel administration, timekeeping, payroll, HR, or a related area.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of timekeeping regulations and basic labor law principles is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees and stakeholders across multiple departments in a dynamic project environment.
  • Communicative English skills, enabling effective work in an international environment.
  • Experience supporting large construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred.
  • Willingness to work on a construction project site and cooperate closely with project management and site personnel on timekeeping and payroll-related activities.
