Affirm, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer II, Fullstack (Repayment UX) for remote Poland. You will build scalable backend systems in Python or Kotlin and ship web apps with React or Vue, with opportunities to work on mobile frontends using React Native.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration with global teams, and contributing to performance metrics while growing your craft in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems with Python or Kotlin.
• Experience shipping web apps using React or Vue.
• React Native experience is a bonus.
• Strong ability to navigate large codebases and conduct effective code reviews.
• Proven ownership of growth and willingness to seek feedback.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with team collaboration.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics to align technical decisions with product goals.
• Support operations and availability by monitoring metrics and on-call duties.
• Contribute to team growth through participation in interviews and mentoring.
