Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Repayment UX team. You’ll work on end-to-end full-stack development across backend services (Python or Kotlin) and frontend flows (React/Vue) from Poland, with remote-first flexibility and a Silicon Valley culture.

You’ll partner with product, design, and analytics to ship scalable features that impact millions of users. Prior mobile exposure (React Native) is a bonus, and ownership is encouraged in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems in Python or Kotlin.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Bonus: experience with React Native for mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics to align on requirements and constraints.
• Maintain operations, metrics and on-call support for team artifacts.
• Participate in interview process and team growth.
