Job summary

Jit is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for a large-scale cloud-based fintech project in Poland. You will join an international team building scalable applications used by millions.

You will work with Python, Node.js, React/Next.js, Kafka, and REST APIs, designing event-driven systems and distributed patterns like Saga and Outbox. The role offers elastic hybrid work with monthly office visits in Warsaw, Kraków, or Tricity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Software Engineer.
• Hands-on Python and Node.js experience.
• Strong full-stack engineering experience across backend and frontend.
• Experience designing event-driven systems and REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka and distributed systems patterns such as Saga/Outbox/Idempotency.
• Good communication in English (B2).
