Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Repayments UX), fully remote in Poland.

You will own and deliver quarterly goals, lead engineers through ambiguity, and collaborate with product, design, and analytics to balance technical constraints and business needs. You’ll design backend systems in Python or Kotlin and build web apps with React or Vue, while also advancing mobile work with React Native.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems in Python or Kotlin.
• Strong communication and ownership in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, guiding engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics through ideation and constraints.
• Identify and lead resolution of project, process, or tech issues.
• Maintain team artifacts, metrics, and on-call support to keep systems running.
• Set and improve code quality standards and share knowledge across teams.
• Mentor teammates and lead by example to develop talent.
