Job summary

Universal-Investment in Kraków is seeking a FATCA/CRS Subject Matter Expert to own Luxembourg regulatory reporting within the TA Setup and event management team.

You will review XML reporting files, submit FATCA/CRS filings via Fundsquare to the Luxembourg tax authorities, monitor deadlines, resolve errors, and train the team.

This role collaborates with Investors, ACD, CDD and IT, and supports governance changes and automation initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulations.
• Proven FATCA/CRS reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of Luxembourg FATCA/CRS requirements.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex FATCA/CRS issues.
• Independent SME capable of training teammates.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for FATCA/CRS within TA Setup team.
• Own FATCA/CRS regulatory reporting and filings.
• Review XML reporting files for data completeness.
• Submit FATCA/CRS filings via Fundsquare to Luxembourg tax authorities.
• Monitor reporting deadlines and ensure timely filings.
• Investigate and fix FATCA/CRS errors and rejections.
• Be the main contact for FATCA/CRS queries from stakeholders.
• Liaise with investors, ACD, CDD and IT on FATCA/CRS matters.
• Provide guidance and training to the TA Setup team.
• Inform Governance TA about procedural changes.
• Collaborate with Governance TA on regulatory changes.
• Support process improvements and robotics projects.
• Ensure documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Support other Fund Setup activities when workload allows.

Job description

Grow with us! We are currently looking for a colleague to join our T TA Setup and specific event management Team that is a part of our Securities Operations. You will act as the FATCA/CRS Subject Matter Expert, taking ownership of Luxembourg regulatory reporting and filings, resolving exceptions, advising stakeholders, training the team, monitoring regulatory changes, and supporting process improvements and automation.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Act as the FATCA/CRS Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the TA Setup and specific event management team.
• Take ownership of FATCA/CRS regulatory reporting and filing activities.
• Review XML reporting files generated in MFGI and perform data consistency and completeness checks.
• Submit FATCA/CRS files via Fundsquare to the Luxembourg tax authorities (ACD).
• Monitor reporting deadlines and ensure timely completion of filings.
• Investigate and resolve FATCA/CRS filing errors, rejections, and exceptions.
• Act as the main point of contact for FATCA/CRS-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with investors/clients, ACD, Customer Due Diligence and IT on FATCA/CRS matters.
• Provide expert guidance and training to the TA Setup and specific event management team.
• Inform Governance TA about any changes related to the procedure for FATCA/CRS
• In collaboration with Governance TA, monitor regulatory changes and assess their operational impact.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives, including robotics projects.
• Ensure accurate documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support other Fund Setup activities when FATCA/CRS workload allows.

Your skills and experience:

• Expert knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulations – mandatory.
• Proven experience in FATCA/CRS regulatory reporting and filing.
• Strong understanding of FATCA/CRS requirements applicable in Luxembourg.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex FATCA/CRS issues and reporting errors.
• Ability to act independently as a Subject Matter Expert and train other team members.
