Job summary

TMF Group in Poland is seeking a Junior Tax Compliance Officer to join the Tax Team. This role offers hybrid work with one weekly office visit in Katowice or Warsaw, in a dynamic international environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting, finance or tax and have 1–2 years of corporate tax experience, with strong English and MS Office skills. Knowledge of Luxembourg tax matters is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or tax is required.
• Good understanding of accounting and legal environment is necessary.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication is required; German or French is a plus.
• 1–2 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diverse tax records and track Luxembourg-related deadlines for client companies.
• Ensure timely work quality and accuracy in deliverables.
• Participate in internal and external trainings.
• Assist client servicing units with Direct Tax matters daily.
• Support Tax Manager with Direct Tax Compliance initiatives.
• Prepare Luxembourg corporate tax returns and assess tax provisions.

We are seeking Junior Tax Compliance Officer to join our Tax Team.

You can work in hybrid model from Poland ( one visit per week from office in Katowice or Warsaw is required).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance of diverse tax records and the follow up on filing deadlines related to Luxembourg taxation for clients ‘companies;
• Ensure the preparation of the work on time with the required level of quality;
• Preparation and participation to internal and/or external trainings;
• Assist the client servicing units/teams with Direct Tax matters in their everyday work;
• Support Tax Manager in all the actual and new specific Direct Tax Compliance initiatives
• Preparation of Luxembourg corporate tax returns, calculation of tax provisions and review of tax assessment

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or University degree) in accounting, finance or tax with interest to learn and develop continually;
• Good understanding of accounting and legal environment is necessary;
• Excellent English written and verbal communication is required. Knowledge of German or French would be an advantage
• Good IT skills and excellent command of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) are necessary;
• From 1 to 2 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance;
• You are analytical, eager to learn and motivated by challenge;
• Flexible and open minded in work approach and display a positive and enthusiastic attitude;
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize;
• Ability to solve problems and work independently as team member.
• Remote working possible, with physical presence in office required on a recurrent basis
