Job summary

Universal Investment in Krakow seeks an experienced reporting professional to manage the activation of client reports and ensure compliant financial reporting. You will collaborate across teams, validate outputs, and stay current with LuxGAAP and European regulations while contributing to platform improvements.

The role requires an accounting background with funds experience, strong English skills, and expert use of MS Office and MS ACCESS.

Qualifications

• Financial/accounting background with initial experience in investment funds.
• Strong LuxGAAP knowledge; IFRS or other GAAP experience a plus.
• Analytical and synthetic thinking.
• Excellent English; French or German a plus.
• MS Office expert with keen attention to detail.
• Responsible, collaborative, and eager to share knowledge.
• Organized, thorough and independent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the activation of reports in our system and define details with colleagues and clients.
• Produce reports ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory obligations.
• Follow-up validation of financial reports and exchanges with clients and third parties.
• Keep up to date with LuxGAAP and European regulatory developments in reporting.
• Participate in integrating operational and technical adaptations for regulatory changes.
• Contribute to development projects for the reporting platform.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage the activation of reports in our system and define the specific details in collaboration with your colleagues and in agreement with our clients.
• Produce reports by ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulatory obligations and the client’s specific requirements.
• Follow-up of the validation of financial / specific reports and handle internal and external exchanges with our clients and third parties (ManCo, auditors, liquidators, authorities, …).
• Keep up to date with national GAAP (LuxGAAP, SweGAAP,…) and European regulatory developments regarding financial reporting.
• Opportunity to participate in the integration of operational and technical adaptations necessary to respond to operational and regulatory changes and contribute to the evolution of our internal processes.
• Opportunity to participate actively in projects to develop our reporting platform.

Your skills and experience:

• You have a financial and/or accounting background and have a first experience in investment funds.
• You have a good knowledge of LuxGAAP accounting principles; experience in IFRS or any other international GAAP is a plus.
• You are known for your analytical and synthetic skills.
• You have an excellent command of English. Command of French or German constitutes a plus.
• You are an expert user of current office packages.
• You have a sense of responsibility and enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience.
• You are organized, thorough and able to work independently.
• You have an excellent command of MS ACCESS.
