Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a POS Inventory & Deployment Manager for Europe. You will lead a SMEs team, ensuring stock availability, deployment performance, and vendor accountability while managing CapEx/OpEx in line with plans.

You will drive digitisation and automation to deliver efficiency gains, coordinate with Product, Vendor Management, and Finance, and lead cross-market initiatives across Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, payments, or card processing.
• Proven experience managing POS inventory and deployment in a multi‑market setup.
• Strong understanding of CapEx and OpEx planning, forecasting, and cost control.
• Demonstrated experience leading vendor negotiations and performance management.
• Proven people leadership experience with SLAs and KPIs.
• Experience driving operational improvement initiatives, including automation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of POS products and lifecycle is an advantage.
• Experience with RFI/RFP vendor processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Hold end-to-end responsibility for POS inventory, including stock forecasting, ordering, distribution, and consumables management across markets.
• Own Inventory & Deployment SLAs and KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure all team procedures are documented, approved, and followed.
• Support and represent Inventory & Deployment in projects and new POS product launches.
• Drive operational efficiency initiatives, incorporating digitisation and automation.
• Act as the first escalation point for Inventory & Deployment items across Europe.
