Mercedes-Benz Vans MBKS Business Analyst role bridging business processes and our global Point of Sale solution. You will work with international markets, retail partners, and cross‑functional product teams to ensure the POS supports sales operations and reflects diverse network needs.

You will gather requirements, analyze incidents, translate needs into functional specifications, and guide markets through changes.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of business and sales processes within a global, multi-level organization.
• Automotive industry experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to read XML and JSON structures is a plus.
• Familiar with REST APIs and data formats such as CSV.
• Fluent English; German language skills would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary analytical partner for international markets using the POS system, translating business needs into functional requirements.
• Gather, structure, and evaluate market requirements, aligning with global sales processes and identifying impacts on existing functionalities.
• Analyze incidents, defects, and market feedback to determine root causes from business‑process and system perspectives, and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and service providers to clarify requirements and ensure enhancements meet expectations.
• Support markets in planning upcoming software changes and releases, including assessing readiness and explaining functional impacts.
• Review and test system implementations, new features, and bug fixes end-to-end for quality and market fit.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement clarification sessions with markets and cross‑functional teams.
• Contribute analytical insights to future POS improvements and user experience enhancements.
