Job summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, seeks an EHS Advisor located in Poland. The role emphasizes leading a proactive EHS culture across sites, ensuring ISO 45001/14001 compliance, and coordinating with contractors across Europe.

The position involves extensive travel within the EU, on-site presence across multiple locations, and collaboration with operational teams to embed safety controls and reporting. Strong English and Polish communication is required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively within the EU (regular on-site presence).
• Experience in a similar EHS role within the construction industry.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Polish (verbal and written).
• At least 4 years of experience in EHS or related position.
• Thorough knowledge of ISO: 45001 and ISO: 14001 standards.
• Experience working/communicating with sub-contractors.
• Ability to advise on EHS issues and lead day-to-day site EHS activities.
• Ability to investigate accident incidents and develop preventive measures.
• Organize own workload; remain confident under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Leading and promoting a positive EHS culture across the site.
• Assisting Site Managers to ensure safe completion of tasks.
• Devising and implementing safety plans per client requirements.
• Liaising with contractors to ensure Safe System of Works.
• Monitoring site operations for compliance.
• Attending project meetings to discuss EHS issues and plans.
• Ensuring all EHS documentation is in place and valid.
• Issuing safety reports detailing incidents and safety issues.
• Coordinating and maintaining ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 systems.
• Reviewing and updating HSA controlled documentation.
• Auditing to ensure compliance; report findings.
• Communicating and maintaining organizational policies and metrics.
• Proactively working with teams to embed EHS controls.
• Monitoring EHS objectives and targets per metrics.
• Ensuring compliance with client, legislation, and best practices.
• Mentoring and coaching personnel to HSA requirements.
• Ad-hoc duties within the department.
