Job summary

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction seeks a Site HSES Specialist to strengthen health, safety and environmental practices in Kraków, Poland. You will implement safety requirements across E&C projects, conduct trainings, and support the HSES organization from bidding to start-up.

The role demands international travel, strong knowledge of HSE standards, and ability to lead audits and safety campaigns on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Higher education in health and safety (postgraduate allowed)
• Experience in HSE in Civil/Chemical engineering
• Practical construction HSE experience
• International project experience is a plus
• Fluent Polish and English
• Ability to provide safety training (various topics)
• Technical understanding of construction and chemical/gas safety
• Knowledge of project execution on construction sites/manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve the project safety requirements based on E&C technologies and site activities
• Perform construction and site safety management trainings for E&C Employees
• Identify the client’s HSES requirements to be implemented in the project HSES organisation
• Support the contractors qualification process according to Air Liquide HSES requirements
• Prepare and implement the HSES organization in projects from bidding phase to start-up
• Identify the site HSES hazards and support the preparation of HSES documents for new projects
• Participate in plot plan and 3D model reviews from an HSE perspective
• Recruit, select, train and manage E&C construction site’s external HSES resources
• Support/lead investigations and analysis of safety events, maintain reporting
• Ensure safety campaigns are deployed on construction sites
• Perform on-site HSES audits/inspections to ensure safe working practices
• Capitalize on audits to update E&C standards and improve the Site HSES Management System
