Allegro.eu S.A. in Warsaw seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Delivery Experience Backend Team.

You will guide 4 backend engineers and testers through a major technology stack transformation, migrating services from .NET/Azure to JVM and Kotlin on GCP, while keeping ongoing operations stable. You will translate business needs into technical plans, mentor the team, maintain and extend integration APIs for our delivery network, and collaborate with partners.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering background (.NET or Java) and experience leading a tech transformation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the strategic migration of microservices from .NET to JVM/Kotlin/GCP without disrupting operations.
• Mentor and support a backend engineering team through a major technology stack transition.
• Maintain existing integration APIs and develop new features for carriers and business requests.
• Translate business expectations into technical solutions and represent Allegro in external discussions.
• Lead technical discussions with partners and participate in on-call duties.
