Allegro.eu S.A. is hiring a Software Engineer 1 (Java/Kotlin) for Allegro Ads in Warsaw. You will work in a hybrid setup on a cloud-native backend using Kotlin/Java, Spring, Kafka, and Kubernetes, with ownership from design to deployment.

You will collaborate with Data Science to build AI-powered ad recommendations, contribute to a greenfield-feel within a mature product, and grow into full-stack or big data roles while embracing continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Solid backend skills in Kotlin or Java and a growth mindset.
• Interest in experimenting with AI and new tools/technologies.
• Willingness to build new products with real impact.
• Experience collaborating with Data Science teams to turn algorithms into user experiences.
• Open to evolving toward full-stack or big data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Implement smart advertising recommendations within the Ads Panel.
• Own backend microservices from design to deployment.
