Job summary

Booksy is seeking a Director of Engineering to own the technical strategy and delivery for our Provider Domain. You will lead end-to-end work across 4-5 cross-functional teams, coaching leaders who can operate autonomously in a deliberately flat structure.

You will set engineering standards and drive AI-driven improvements in the lifecycle. You will partner with Product to convert commercial strategy into engineering priorities, using experimentation and data to prove impact.

Qualifications

• Think like a product owner with understanding of unit economics, funnels, and commercial impact.
• Establish engineering rigor with architecture decisions and standardised ways of working.
• Embed AI tooling into the engineering lifecycle and measure impact.
• Led multiple squads through Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers in a high-growth scale-up.
• English language skills required to operate with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across 4-5 cross-functional teams.
• Set the engineering standard for the domain, including architecture decisions and proposals.
• Lead the AI transformation of the engineering lifecycle and define success metrics.
• Partner with Product to align commercial and engineering strategy with data and experimentation.
• Build and coach a high-density team of autonomous leaders.
