Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Industrialization Engineer to join our hybrid team in Poland. You will report to the Industrialization Manager and support the introduction of new products through CPD processes, working with design and manufacturing teams to optimize manufacturability and cost.

Key responsibilities include supporting PFMEA, cost estimation, and manufacturing specifications, as well as collaboration with SAP processes and project management to ensure successful NPI outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience in engineering design or manufacturing.
• Understand New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
• Experience collaborating with project management teams.

Responsibilities

• Support introduction of new products through CPD and NPI processes.
• Work with design and manufacturing to optimize manufacturability for NPI.
• Assist in determining product cost.
• Support development of manufacturing specifications and validate against digital twins.
• Estimate manufacturing cost and document related processes.
• Handle small–medium scope issues requiring in‑depth data analysis.

Job Description

As Industrialization Engineer you will report to Industrialization Manager

Your Responsibilities:

• With direction in the form of SAFe stories, the Industrial Design Organization supports the introduction of new products. This support comes through Design for projects and the Manufacturing Design Specification. The support also comes from Architects, Product Owners, or SME Project Engineers. They work following the RA Common Product Development (CPD) processes.
• Work with Engineering Design and Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability for a New Product Introduction
• Support development engineering to determine product cost
• Support development of manufacturing specification and validate against Digital twins
• Support development of the associated documentation and estimate manufacturing cost
• Work on issues of small to medium scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree or education
• 2 years' experience in engineering design or manufacturing
• Understand concepts of New Product Introduction process
• Have worked with Project Management teams
• Knowledge of Design for Assembly, Cost and Automation
• Understanding of discrete manufacturing assembly practices
• Support Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Transactions in an Enterprise Resource Planning system SAP
• Good written and verbal communications in English
