Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Katowice, Poland is seeking a Senior Product Quality Engineer to lead QA for New Product Introduction and post-sales activities. The role focuses on ensuring the highest quality standards for our products with a hybrid work schedule in Katowice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 8 years of combined experience in product quality engineering in manufacturing and NPI.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support NPI processes.
  • Develop and implement quality plans, inspection criteria, and test methods for new products.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Monitor and analyze post-sales product performance and customer feedback.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and development teams to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on quality and reliability aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, evaluate, revise, and apply QA protocols to inspect and test materials and products.
  • Ensure activities and products comply with QA standards and regulations.
  • Perform analysis and identify trends in inspection data and recommend actions.

Job Description

Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. Ensures compliance with internal and external specifications and standards such as ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records. The Senior Product Quality Engineer will be responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) and post-sales activities, ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. This position is based in Katowice and offers a hybrid work schedule.

The Essentials - You Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 8 years of combined experience in product quality engineering, in a manufacturing environment, and New Product Introduction
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
  • Product Development process (Concept, Design/development, prototyping, testing, and commercialization/Utilization) Desirable.
  • Agile Methodology knowledge (desirable)
  • Familiarity with post-sales support and customer feedback analysis.
  • Certification in quality engineering (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt).
