Rockwell Automation is seeking an Industrialization Engineer to support the introduction of new products from design to manufacturing. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective, manufacturable designs and participate in PFMEA and process optimization activities.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 2 years of relevant experience, and strong English communication. Hybrid work arrangements apply, with Rockwell offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Support introduction of new products via SAFe stories and CPD processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering Design and Manufacturing to optimize manufacturability.
• Assist cost estimation and manufacturing specification development.
• Work with Architects, Product Owners, and SME Project Engineers.
• Contribute to documentation and model validation with digital twins.
• Assist in cost analysis and process improvement initiatives.
• Support PFMEA and design reviews within NPI context.

Job Description

As Industrialization Engineer you will report to Industrialization Manager.

Your Responsibilities

• With direction in the form of SAFe stories, the Industrial Design Organization supports the introduction of new products.
• This support comes through Design for projects and the Manufacturing Design Specification.
• The support also comes from Architects, Product Owners, or SME Project Engineers.
• They work following the RA Common Product Development (CPD) processes.
• Work with Engineering Design and Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability for a New Product Introduction.
• Support development engineering to determine product cost.
• Support development of manufacturing specification and validate against Digital twins.
• Support development of the associated documentation and estimate manufacturing cost.
• Work on issues of small to medium scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Essentials - You Will Have

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree or education
• 2 years' experience in engineering design or manufacturing
• Understand concepts of New Product Introduction process
• Have worked with Project Management teams
• Knowledge of Design for Assembly, Cost and Automation
• Understanding of discrete manufacturing assembly practices
• Support Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Transactions in an Enterprise Resource Planning system SAP
• Good written and verbal communications in English
