Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting to lead a high-performing team across EMEA, shaping hiring strategy for engineering and technical roles.

You will partner with leaders to translate hiring plans into scalable processes and drive talent outcomes. This role emphasizes building a strong employer brand, leveraging analytics, and fostering inclusive growth as the company scales internationally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading full-cycle technical recruiting.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams.
• Deep knowledge of the EMEA talent market, with experience hiring in the UK, Poland, and Spain preferred.
• Experience developing and executing hiring strategies in new or emerging markets where recruiting infrastructure and talent networks are still being established.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, advise, and build trusted partnerships with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters by setting clear expectations and fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture.
• Own the recruiting strategy for EMEA, aligning regional hiring plans with business priorities.
• Partner with Technical and cross-functional leaders to translate hiring plans into scalable strategies.
• Influence Directors and VP-level stakeholders using data and market insights to inform hiring decisions.
• Use analytics to identify trends, forecast hiring risks, and improve funnel performance.
• Collaborate with Talent Brand, Talent Operations, Compensation and other People teams to deliver a seamless hiring experience.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders through transparent communication and proactive talent advice.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate recruiting processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
