Job summary

Flex, a globally recognized manufacturing partner, seeks an EHS Specialist in Tczew, Poland, reporting to the EH&S and Recycling Manager, to implement occupational health and safety tasks and maintain ISO 45001 compliance. The role involves inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety documentation, with collaboration across departments and authorities.

We value a university degree in OH&S, 5+ years’ experience, fluency in English and Polish, and strong knowledge of safety

Qualifications

• Proven ability to independently manage safety standards and complex health and safety tasks.
• University degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• At least 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety roles.
• Strong knowledge of legal regulations related to health, safety, and fire protection.
• Knowledge of environmental protection matters would be an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Polish (written and spoken).
• Eligible to work in Poland (EU).

Responsibilities

Job Summary Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a EHS Specialist located in Tczew, Poland. Reporting to the EH&S and Recycling Manager, the EHS Specialist role involves implementing occupational health and safety tasks while ensuring the correct operation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System compliant with health and safety regulations and ISO 45001.

What a typical day looks like:

• Inspect working conditions and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations.
• Identify occupational hazards and prepare relevant reports and root causes.
• Participate in occupational risk assessments and investigations of incidents.
• Maintain records and documentation related to incidents, diseases and harmful factors in the work environment.
• Manage indicators related to working environment and measurements of harmful factors with storing and analyzing results.
• Develop, update and implement safety instructions, procedures and related documentation.
• Conduct training on occupational health and safety, fire protection and chemical handling.
• Collaborate with internal departments, company doctor and relevant authorities to implement safety objectives.
• Manage fire protection equipment and verify chemical safety data sheets.
• Prepare reports and submit required documentation to state and local authorities (e.g., PIP, PIS).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Proven ability to independently manage safety standards and complex health and safety tasks.
• University degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• At least 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety roles.
• Strong knowledge of legal regulations related to occupational health, safety, and fire protection.
• Knowledge of environmental protection matters would be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Demonstrated sense of responsibility and accountability for tasks and their impact on the team and organization.
• Fluent in English & Polish (written and spoken)
• Eligible to work in Poland (EU).
