Job summary

Flex seeks an EHS Manager in Tczew, Poland to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives, ensure ISO 45001/14001 compliance, and mentor the EHS team.

You will develop policies, monitor risks, coordinate audits, and support safe production design in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 and relevant regulations.
  • Fluent in English and Polish, both written and spoken.
  • Auditing experience or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee HSE policy in line with ISO 45001/14001.
  • Lead and mentor the EHS team for high performance and growth.
  • Develop and improve HSE and recycling policies, training, and awareness.
  • Monitor conditions, identify risks, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate audits with external bodies and customers.
  • Support safe design of new production workstations and equipment.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a EHS Manager located in Tczew, Poland.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Implement and oversee the company’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policy, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead, develop and mentor the EHS team, fostering high performance, engagement, team building and continuous professional growth.
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve HSE and Recycling policies, procedures, standards and employee awareness programs.
  • Monitor workplace conditions, identify risks, recommend corrective actions and coordinate their implementation to improve safety and environmental performance.
  • Manage documentation related to workplace accidents, occupational diseases, HSE inspections, measurements and risk assessments.
  • Support the design of new production workstations and develop health and safety guidelines for machines and equipment.
  • Collaborate with employee representatives, occupational health physicians and key stakeholders to enhance workplace safety and working conditions.
  • Coordinate external and customer audits related to HSE, Environmental Protection and Recycling, while sharing best practices across Flex manufacturing sites.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
  • University degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Protection, or a related field, or postgraduate studies in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety, environmental protection, and fire protection regulations, as well as ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Good command of English and Polish, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently, make key decisions, demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and high ethical standards.
  • Strong teamwork and team coordination skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a demanding and stressful environment.
  • Internal auditor certification would be considered an advantage.
