Job summary

Flex is seeking a H&S Specialist to join our team in Tczew, Poland. You will inspect conditions, assess hazards and maintain compliant safety records to support a safe work environment.

You will lead safety training, collaborate with internal teams and authorities, and help implement safety objectives while ensuring documentation and reporting are up to date.

Qualifications

• Independent management of safety standards and complex health and safety tasks.
• Strong knowledge of legal regulations related to occupational health, safety and fire protection.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• English and Polish language skills (written and spoken).
• Eligible to work in Poland (EU).

Responsibilities

• Inspect working conditions and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations.
• Identify occupational hazards and prepare relevant reports and root causes.
• Participate in occupational risk assessments and investigations of incidents.
• Maintain records and documentation related to incidents, diseases and harmful factors in the work environment.
• Manage indicators related to working environment and measurements of harmful factors with storing and analyzing results.
• Develop, update and implement safety instructions, procedures and related documentation.
• Conduct training on occupational health and safety, fire protection and chemical handling.
• Collaborate with internal departments, company doctor and relevant authorities to implement safety objectives.
• Manage fire protection equipment and verify chemical safety data sheets.
• Prepare reports and submit required documentation to state and local authorities.

What a typical day looks like:

• Inspect working conditions and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations.

• Manage of indicators related to working environment and measurements of harmful factors with storing and analyzing results.
• Develop, update and implement safety instructions, procedures and related documentation.
• Conduct training on occupational health and safety, fire protection and chemical handling.
• Collaborate with internal departments, company doctor and relevant authorities to implement safety objectives.
• Manage of fire protection equipment and verify chemical safety data sheets.
• Prepare reports and submit required documentation to state and local authorities (e.g., PIP, PIS).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Proven ability to independently manage safety standards and complex health and safety tasks.
• University degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Strong knowledge of legal regulations related to occupational health, safety, and fire protection. Knowledge of environmental protection matters would be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Demonstrated sense of responsibility and accountability for tasks and their impact on the team and organization.
• Good in English & Polish (written and spoken)
• Eligible to work in Poland (EU).
