Job summary

Jacobs is expanding its Global Design Center in Kraków to meet evolving process needs. We are seeking a talented Document Publisher to co-create sales and communications materials with regional and global reach.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in English Philology or similar field.
• Excellent language skills in English and Polish.
• Prior experience in document editing/translation.
• Advanced proficiency in desktop publishing software (MS Office).
• Willingness to travel for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Providing publishing technical support using MS Office Suite, applicable tools, guidelines and templates.
• Acting as part of production team, collaborating with team members in production of both electronic and print copies of varying size and complexity - from technical project reports and proposals to marketing.
• Completing routine technical tasks and following direction from a lead.
• Performing quality control check to meet project quality, objectives and deadlines.
• Organizing material and completing writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Reviewing published materials and recommending revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding.

We are currently expanding our Global Design Center in Kraków to meet evolving process needs and increasing recruitment demand. The CSS team — the creative team — is seeking talented and experienced Document Publisher who wants to co‑create sales and communication materials with both regional and global reach.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing publishing technical support using MS Office Suite, applicable tools, guidelines and templates.
• Acting as part of production team, collaborating with team members in production of both electronic and print copies of varying size and complexity - from technical project reports and proposals to marketing.
• Completing routine technical tasks and following direction from a lead.
• Performing quality control check to meet project quality, objectives and deadlines.
• Organizing material and completing writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.

Here’s what you'll need

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in English Philology or similar field (Linguistics, Communication Studies, Translation and Interpretation, Cultural Studies, Philology).
• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in German and/or Swedish Studies or similar field.
• Excellent language skills (English and Polish).
• Prior experience in document editing/translation.
• Advanced proficiency in desktop publishing software (MS Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong team player, with demonstrated organization and attention to details skills and accuracy.
• Must be willing and able to travel for short periods.
