Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is expanding its Global Design Center in Kraków. The CSS team seeks a talented Document Publisher to co-create sales and communication materials with regional and global reach.

The role involves producing electronic and print materials, ensuring quality, and collaborating with a cross-functional team in an international environment. Travel may be required, and a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in English Philology or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint for publishing tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in editing and formatting.
• Excellent English and Polish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide publishing support using MS Office and templates.
• Collaborate with production team to create electronic and print materials of varying sizes.
• Complete routine technical tasks under guidance from a lead.
• Conduct quality control to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Organize material and write content according to standards of order and clarity.
• Review published materials and suggest revisions in scope or format.

We are currently expanding our Global Design Center in Kraków to meet evolving process needs and increasing recruitment demand. The CSS team — the creative team — is seeking talented and experienced Document Publisher who wants to co‑create sales and communication materials with both regional and global reach.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing publishing technical support using MS Office Suite, applicable tools, guidelines and templates.
• Acting as part of production team, collaborating with team members in production of both electronic and print copies of varying size and complexity - from technical project reports and proposals to marketing.
• Completing routine technical tasks and following direction from a lead.
• Performing quality control check to meet project quality, objectives and deadlines.
• Organizing material and completing writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Reviewing published materials and recommending revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding.

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in English Philology or similar field (Linguistics, Communication Studies, Translation and Interpretation, Cultural Studies, Philology).
• Excellent language skills (English and Polish).
• Advanced proficiency in desktop publishing software (MS Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong team player, with demonstrated organization and attention to details skills and accuracy.
• Must be willing and able to travel for short periods.
