Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs with IT solutions in document management and control. You will work with stakeholders, project teams, and IT delivery to analyze, improve and digitalize document lifecycles across global projects.

You will gather requirements, create user stories, and support design, testing and adoption while ensuring governance and standardization across programs. Fluency in English and ITIL knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Information Management or equivalent.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
• Experience in business requirements analysis, stakeholder management, and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of document management, lifecycle, metadata, revision control and governance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for digitalization, harmonization and continuous improvement within document-centric environments.
• Gather, document, validate and manage business requirements, translating them into functional specs, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to define business needs and align solution outcomes.
• Support solution design, testing, implementation, release readiness and user adoption activities.
• Act as the liaison between business users, application teams, vendors, integration teams and service delivery organizations.
• Drive standardization of document management and document control processes across projects and units.
• Define and monitor process performance indicators, benefits and adoption metrics for data-driven decisions.
• Contribute to application lifecycle management, backlog, demand intake and change management.
