Job summary

Calan is seeking an Investment Director to lead residential and retail development projects in Poland. You will oversee a PM team, drive permits, and coordinate with architects, authorities, and stakeholders to maximize project value and accelerate commercialization.

The role requires a hands-on leader with a proven permit track record, strong network-building ability, and willingness to travel between offices across Poland.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within residential or retail development.
• Strong leadership and entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to inspire and improve team dynamics.
• Proven track record in obtaining building permits and navigating municipal processes.
• Proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to independently establish and maintain relationships with municipal authorities, service providers, and local stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel frequently between offices in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Supervising team of Project Managers and enhancing team performance.
• Leading the acquisition of building permits and optimizing development conditions (WZ).
• Building and maintaining strong networks with municipal authorities, service providers, and local stakeholders.
• Overseeing the full project lifecycle from due diligence to commercialization.
• Coordinating with external architects to define optimal project concepts.
• Monitoring timelines, budgets, and quality to ensure successful project execution.
