Job summary

Chemelex is seeking a Demand Forecasting Specialist to join our team in Warsaw or Dzierżoniów, Poland. You will manage forecasts for assigned product categories, analyze historical data, identify demand drivers, and build statistical models to improve forecast accuracy.

Collaborate with sales, marketing and supply to align plans, lead demand reviews, and support NPI forecasting. You will develop and report KPIs such as forecast accuracy and service levels, while leveraging MS Office to support

Qualifications

  • University degree and proven work experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Polish language skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the forecasting of assigned product categories, including analyzing historical sales, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, and developing statistical forecast models.
  • Align operational forecast with sales, financial, marketing, and product life cycle plans.
  • Understand drivers of demand and facilitate demand reviews for assigned categories within the S&OP process.
  • Lead supply chain portions of NPI forecasts, transition inventory, and project management.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service and inventory performance.
  • Coordinate and communicate demand plans to Supply organization to balance service, inventory and capacity levels.

Location: Warsaw or Dzierżoniów, Poland

We are recruiting for this position in both Warsaw and Dzierżoniów. The successful candidate may be based at either location.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the forecasting of assigned product categories, including analyzing historical sales, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, and developing statistical forecast models.
  • Work closely with customer facing functions to;
  • Align operational forecast with sales, financial, marketing, and product life cycle plans
  • Understand drivers of demand
  • Facilitate and manage demand reviews for assigned Categories within the Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning process
  • Support Product Lifecycle activities by leading supply chain portions of NPI (ramp-up & phase-out forecasts, transition inventory, project management)
    Use, manage, and maintain Demand Planning systems and software as the primary forecasting workspace
  • Work tirelessly to develop and refine processes to maximize forecast accuracy and customer service
  • Serve as subject matter expert for forecasting and demand planning best practices
    Coordinate and communicate demand plans to Supply organization to balance service, inventory, and capacity levels
  • Develop, maintain, and report on KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service & inventory performance
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement and Lean activities.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset that promotes communication, shared learning, intelligent risk-taking, creative problem solving, and accountability for failures and successes.
  • Work with Supply Management to develop initiatives to achieve KPI goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • University education, and proven work experience in a similar position.
