Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Solid experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, or a comparable role in an international environment.
• Strong analytical skills and numerical problem solving.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting tools, Excel, SAP, or ERP systems.
• Fluent English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Production to identify demand drivers and validate forecasts.
• Improve demand planning processes, forecasting methodologies, KPIs, and planning standards.
• Support AI-powered forecasting and planning solutions to drive data-driven decisions.
• Balance forecasts with stock to optimize inventory and minimize excess or shortages.
• Drive SLOB and fire sale processes, and support product launches and phase-outs.
• Participate in production transfer and supply chain optimization projects.
• Prepare, analyze and improve key supply chain reports and metrics.

At XSYS, we are looking for an analytical and proactive Demand Planning Manager (f/m), who will play a key role in shaping demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels and driving supply chain excellence in an international environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical sales data, market trends, business insights, and other relevant internal and external information.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Production teams to identify key demand drivers and validate forecasts.
• Continuously improve demand planning processes, forecasting methodologies, KPIs, and planning standards to enhance forecast accuracy and business performance.
• Support the evaluation, validation, and implementation of AI‑powered forecasting and planning solutions to drive data‑driven decision‑making and automation.
• Ensure optimal inventory availability by balancing forecasts and stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and shortages.
• Drive and further develop SLOB (Slow‑Moving and Obsolete Inventory) and fire sale processes.
• Support product launches and phase‑out activities, including estimating initial order quantities and assessing potential cannibalization effects.
• Participate in production transfer and supply chain optimisation projects.
• Prepare, analyse and continuously improve key supply chain reports and performance metrics.

Your Profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Solid experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, or a comparable role, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong analytical skills combined with excellent numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with forecasting tools, Excel, SAP, or comparable ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Understanding market trends, commercial drivers, and customer demand patterns.
• A structured, proactive, and solution‑oriented approach to work.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. German language skills would be considered an advantage.
