Job summary

Danone is seeking a Global Forecast Analyst in Poland to lead the development and deployment of analytics and ML solutions for demand planning. You will work cross-functionally with data scientists, planners and stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions and improve forecast accuracy.

The role involves implementing ML models, KPI dashboards, data governance and collaboration with IT and regional teams. ~20% travel is required across continents.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in machine learning, preferably within supply chain or planning functions is a plus.
• Experience with SAP IBP/o9 or similar planning platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

About The Job

As a Global Forecast Analyst within the Smart Planning team, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to optimize demand planning processes. You will work cross‑functionally with data scientists, planners, and business stakeholders to enable data‑driven decision‑making and improve forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.

This position is based in Poland.

Main Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to the development and implementation of machine learning models for demand forecasting and planning,


• Lead initiatives related to KPI tracking and dashboarding to monitor and enhance planning performance,


• Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate machine learning solutions into planning tools such as SAP IBP,


• Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and model interpretability across planning systems,


• Work closely with Regional Forecast Analysts within the planning transformation team,


• Drive innovation by exploring and applying new technologies and methodologies in predictive analytics,


• The role requires approximately 20% business travel per year across continents (depending on business needs).
