Job summary

Sii Poland is hiring a Data Platform Engineer in Rzeszów to design, build and operate our cloud data platform across AWS and GCP. You’ll partner with Data Engineers, Scientists and Analysts to deliver scalable, secure data solutions and empower teams with reliable infrastructure.

The role focuses on data lakes, data warehouses, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and observability, ensuring cost efficiency and governance across the data landscape. Fluent in English and Polish are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Cloud experience across AWS and GCP with Docker and Terraform.
• Expertise with BigQuery and data lake architectures.
• Python development and modern data tooling (Airflow, dbt).
• Security, IAM, and cost-management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Data Platform infra across AWS and GCP.
• Enhance platform features, monitoring, and automation.
• Create CI/CD deployment processes for reliability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts to evolve MLOps platform.
• Manage data estate: IAM, storage, cost control.
• Design secure, compliant data infrastructure.
• Improve performance, security, and efficiency across clouds.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet platform needs.
• Uphold engineering practices: code reviews, IaC, governance.
