Sii Poland is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Data & Analytics team in Wrocław. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, work with BigQuery as the data warehouse, and collaborate with analytics, BI and product teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

The role offers growth toward Data Engineering, Big Data, or Machine Learning with hands-on projects and modern cloud tech, including CI/CD and IaC with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of experience in a Data Engineer role or similar position working with data in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery data modeling and Cloud Storage.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch and/or streaming).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python in data processing and orchestration.
• Experience in workflow orchestration (Airflow/Cloud Composer).
• Experience implementing CI/CD for data solutions (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Prior work with large data volumes focusing on performance and reliability.
• Fluent English, Polish language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Work with BigQuery as the main data warehouse and perform data modeling and query optimization.
• Integrate data from files, databases, APIs, and events and transform it for analytics.
• Orchestrate data workflows using Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer.
• Create and maintain CI/CD solutions for data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Manage cloud infrastructure following Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Ensure data quality, monitor pipelines and respond to incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with analytics, BI and product teams to deliver stable, well-documented data.
• Contribute to data architecture and define best practices in data engineering.
