ALS Customs Services is seeking a high-caliber Country Manager to lead our Poland entity. You will drive strategic development, financial performance, and operational efficiency in close coordination with the Operations Manager and international leadership.

Qualifications

• University degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, international trade or a comparable field.
• Several years of leadership with P&L responsibility, ideally as Country Manager or Managing Director.
• Strong experience in strategy, operations, sales, finance and people management.
• Knowledge of customs, logistics, freight forwarding or international trade is an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong KPI focus and financial acumen.
• Clear, reliable leadership style with customer and sales orientation.
• Excellent Polish and English communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly and adapt hours as needed.

Responsabilités

• Oversee strategic, operational and financial development of our local entity in Poland in coordination with the Operations Manager.
• Develop and implement local business, budget and sales plans with international management.
• Manage financial and operational performance based on KPIs and provide regular reports.
• Develop efficient, standardized and customer-focused processes.
• Grow the business through new customers, key accounts, pricing and cross-selling.
• Lead and develop local management team and employees; foster future leaders.
• Ensure compliance with legal, customs and internal requirements especially data protection and risk management.
• Collaborate with other ALS entities and central functions on projects and change initiatives.
• Represent the company in dealings with customers, authorities and stakeholders.

What You Can Expect** :**

• Overall responsibility for the strategic, operational and financial development of our local entity in Poland, in close coordination with the Operations Manager
• Developing and implementing local business, budget and sales plans in close coordination with the international management team
• Managing financial and operational performance based on relevant KPIs and providing regular reports
• Further developing efficient, standardised and customer-focused processes
• Actively developing the business through new customer acquisition, key account management, pricing and cross-selling
• Leading and developing the local management team and employees, and fostering future leaders
• Ensuring compliance with legal, customs and internal requirements, particularly in the areas of compliance, data protection and risk management
• Working closely with other ALS entities and central functions, and managing key projects and change initiatives
• Representing the company in dealings with customers, authorities, associations and other relevant stakeholders

What You Bring:

• A university degree, for example in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, international trade or a comparable field
• Several years of leadership experience with business and P&L responsibility, ideally as a Country Manager, Managing Director or in a comparable role
• Strong experience in strategy, operations, sales, finance and people management
• Knowledge of customs, logistics, freight forwarding or international trade is an advantage
• An entrepreneurial mindset, strong decision‑making skills and confidence in working with financial KPIs
• An appreciative, clear and reliable leadership style, combined with a strong customer and sales focus
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Polish and English
• Enthusiasm for international collaboration and actively shaping change
• Flexibility to travel regularly and adapt working hours when business needs require it
