Job summary

ALS Customs Services in Poland is seeking a senior leader to drive the strategic, operational and financial development of our local entity in close coordination with the Operations Manager.

You will shape local business plans, monitor performance against KPIs, and lead a growing management team while ensuring compliance with customs, data protection and regulatory standards. The role involves working across ALS entities and representing the company to customers and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic, operational and financial development of the Poland entity.
• Develop local business, budget and sales plans with international management.
• Manage performance via KPIs and regular reports.
• Develop efficient, standardised, customer-focused processes.
• Drive new business through acquisition, key accounts, pricing and cross-selling.
• Lead local management team and develop future leaders.
• Ensure compliance with legal, customs, data protection and risk management.
• Collaborate with ALS entities, central functions and manage key projects.
• Represent ALS with customers, authorities and stakeholders.

Job description

• Overall responsibility for the strategic, operational and financial development of our local entity in Poland, in close coordination with the Operations Manager
• Developing and implementing local business, budget and sales plans in close coordination with the international management team
• Managing financial and operational performance based on relevant KPIs and providing regular reports
• Further developing efficient, standardised and customer-focused processes
• Actively developing the business through new customer acquisition, key account management, pricing and cross-selling
• Leading and developing the local management team and employees, and fostering future leaders
• Ensuring compliance with legal, customs and internal requirements, particularly in the areas of compliance, data protection and risk management
• Working closely with other ALS entities and central functions, and managing key projects and change initiatives
• Representing the company in dealings with customers, authorities, associations and other relevant stakeholders
