Job summary

Maersk GSC Poland is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to embed an outcome-driven CI operating model across regional teams in Poland. You will partner with leaders, coach teams, and turn improvement opportunities into measurable business results.

You will lead deployment of CI tools like MOS, TMW, Bowler, A3 and SQC, while driving timely delivery, governance and capability-building across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma or process improvement.
• Strong understanding of performance-management routines and operational governance.
• Experience with tools/methodologies such as A3, Bowler, daily management, standard work, visual management, or structured problem-solving.
• Ability to coach managers and teams in practical CI behaviours and ways of working.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, able to challenge and influence at different levels.
• Experience driving efficiency initiatives and tracking measurable business benefits.
• Ability to work closely with automation, operations and transformation teams.
• Structured, hands-on approach with execution and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of the Continuous Improvement operating model across L3 processes.
• Participate in daily and weekly management routines to improve review quality and performance discipline.
• Own and drive L3-level efficiency initiatives with monthly and quarterly delivery targets.
• Collaborate with CI Specialists, operations, and Automation to identify opportunities and define MVP scope.
• Review and approve business requirements, MVP outcomes, and implementation readiness.
• Coach CI Specialists, team leaders and managers in practical problem-solving methods.
• Build CI maturity through hands-on coaching, standard work and targeted training.
• Monitor process performance at L3 level and plan actions for red metrics and risk areas.
