Job summary

Anshar Studios in Katowice, Poland, is seeking a talented Concept Artist to reinforce our art team for upcoming projects. This is an on-site position in our Katowice office, focused on creating compelling concept art and supporting world-building across multiple game titles.

You will work with art directors and designers, iterating designs from sketches to polished concepts, ensuring consistency with the project’s visual direction and storytelling goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Photoshop or Procreate.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software for block-outs.
• Strong understanding of perspective, composition, lighting, and color theory.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with feedback integration.
• Knowledge of latest trends, technologies, and tools for game visuals.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Intermediate English (B1/B2) and Polish (B1/B2).

Responsibilities

• Design and create visually striking concept art aligned with the game’s creative vision and storytelling goals.
• Collaborate with art directors and other team members to ensure cohesive world-building and asset production.
• Develop a variety of designs from sketches to highly polished concepts.
• Provide detailed visual breakdowns, callouts, and reference materials to guide 3D asset creation.
• Ensure consistency in style and quality adhering to the project’s art direction.
