Job summary

Billennium is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to translate complex business needs into scalable, production-ready technology solutions. You will work directly with clients and Billennium teams to design approaches, build prototypes, integrate systems, and deploy solutions into production.

Ideally, you enjoy solving ambiguous problems, working with end users, and taking ownership across the full solution lifecycle, from design to delivery, with strong communication throughout.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a client-facing technical role (QA engineering/solution engineering/technical consulting).
• Experience designing and developing backend services, APIs, or full-stack apps.
• Knowledge of relational/non-relational databases and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Understand client business processes and technical environments.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and production-ready apps.
• Build end-to-end solutions using software engineering, cloud, data, automation, and AI tech.
• Integrate solutions with client systems, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
• Test, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve deployed solutions for reliability and security.
• Collaborate with engineers, data specialists, product teams, and stakeholders.
• Document components and patterns for future client deliveries.
