Job summary

ING Poland is seeking a China Desk Head for Central & Eastern Europe, based in Warsaw, to lead our engagement with Chinese corporate clients across Poland and the region.

The role requires deep knowledge of corporate banking and international development, a proven track record with multinational clients, and fluency in English; Mandarin would be a strong advantage. The position offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to collaborate across Europe and Asia.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business or related field.
• 5+ years in corporate banking or international business development.
• Proven track record in managing client relationships and originating new business.
• English fluency; Mandarin would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute ING's strategy for Chinese corporate clients in Central Europe.
• Build and strengthen senior-level relationships with Chinese corporates across Poland and the CEE region.
• Identify new business opportunities and support clients through growth journeys.
• Act as trusted advisor by connecting clients with ING's international network and product expertise.
• Collaborate with Sectors, Lending, Transaction Services, Financial Markets and other product teams.
• Drive growth with strong focus on risk management, compliance and sustainable business development.
• Represent ING within the Asian business community and strengthen the bank's position among Asian investors.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across countries, cultures and environments.
