ING Bank Śląski S.A. in Warsaw is recruiting a China Desk Head for Central & Eastern Europe to lead engagement with Chinese corporate clients across Poland and the wider CEE region, based in Warsaw with a hybrid work model.

You will develop and execute ING's strategy for Chinese clients, deepen senior-level relationships, identify growth opportunities, and coordinate with product teams while representing ING in the Asian business community and upholding risk management and compliance.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate banking or international business development.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and originating new business opportunities.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to execute growth strategies.
• Deep understanding of corporate banking products and financial markets.
• Experience working with multinational and international corporate clients.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin Chinese would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• develop and execute ING's strategy for Chinese corporate clients operating or investing in Central Europe
• build and strengthen senior-level relationships with Chinese corporates across Poland and the CEE region
• identify new business opportunities and support clients throughout their investment and growth journeys
• act as a trusted advisor by connecting clients with ING's international network and product expertise
• cooperate closely with colleagues across Sectors, Lending, Transaction Services, Financial Markets and other product teams
• drive commercial growth while maintaining a strong focus on risk management, compliance and sustainable business development
• represent ING within the Asian business community and strengthen the bank's position among Asian investors in the region
• collaborate with stakeholders across multiple countries, cultures and business environments
