Job summary

Universal-Investment in Kraków is seeking a Cash & Securities Reconciliation Officer to join our Transfer Agency Department. You will post and reconcile accounting entries, investigate discrepancies and handle enquiries from investors and banks to resolve pending transactions.

The role requires an economics/finance background, several years in transfer agency, strong client relations, and fluency in English (French or German is a plus).

Qualifications

• University degree in economics, finance or related field.
• Several years of experience in transfer agency or fund industry.
• Fluency in English; French or German would be an advantage.
• Strong client relationships and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• A proactive, flexible and client-focused approach with team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile accounting entries.

• Prepare, verify and submit manual payments.

• Maintain and update monitoring records.

Grow with us! We are currently looking for a colleague to join our Cash & Securities Reconciliation Officer that is a part of our Transfer Agency Department.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Post and reconcile accounting entries.
• Investigate discrepancies and monitor pending cash and securities transactions through to resolution.
• Handle internal and external enquiries related to pending transactions, working with investors, custodian banks, paying agents, clearing houses, management companies and accountants.
• Prepare, verify, authorise and submit manual payments.
• Coordinate interest and compensation claims relating to pending cash and securities transactions.
• Maintain and update monitoring records.
• With the Assistant Team Leader’s approval, report incidents to the relevant team, providing details of the issue, the parties involved, its impact and all supporting documentation.

Your skills and experience:

• A university degree in economics, finance or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in transfer agency or the fund industry.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, flexible and self-reliant approach, with a strong team spirit and client focus.
• The ability to remain effective and organised under pressure.
• Fluency in English; French or German would be an advantage.
