Job summary

UPM is seeking a Billing Manager to join the Finance team in UPM Business Hub Poland in Wrocław. You will lead the Billing and Miscellaneous Invoicing operations, drive standardization, and ensure accurate, on-time delivery while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to maintain superior customer experience.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in economics/ business, 5+ years of experience, SAP SD/FI proficiency, VAT knowledge, and fluent English with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration or similar education.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in people, team and change management in a global matrix organization.
• Deep knowledge of billing and recharging processes, controls and systems.
• Good knowledge of VAT and bookkeeping principles, Lead to Cash end-to-end processes.
• Experienced user of SAP SD and FI.
• Fluent in English; experience in international business.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead Billing team responsible for Billing & Miscellaneous Invoicing operations.
• Drive process standardization, efficiency, and timely delivery of billing services.
• Develop and implement Billing & Miscellaneous Invoicing processes and interfaces.
• Drive adoption of best practices in billing process development; automate where relevant.
• Ensure cooperation with stakeholders and maintain world-class customer experience.
• Own processing documentation and instructions.
• Participate in end-to-end Lead to Cash process development with Finance and Business teams.
• Provide area expertise in various UPM projects.
