Qualifications

• experience in insurance claims handling or strong motivation to develop in claims
• good knowledge of the insurance market
• basic understanding of insurance products
• very good MS Office knowledge (Excel)
• ability to analyse cases and processes and identify areas for improvement

Responsibilities

• Handle the FNOL (First Notice of Loss) process of the claim
• Registration and setup of new claims in internal systems
• Verify and analyze claim documentation (policies, endorsements, invoices, medical/expert reports)
• Assess coverage in line with policy terms and guidelines (within granted authority)
• Handle queries from clients regarding claim status and next steps
• Ensure claim files are complete, accurate and properly documented
• Ensure compliance with procedures and service levels
• Participate in projects to improve and automate claims processes
• Support transition and migration of new claims processes
• Propose process or system improvements to the team manager
• Conduct trainings for new joiners and support colleagues
• Keep process documentation up to date
• Suggest and implement changes to tools and documentation
• Participate in problem solving
• Work closely with team to meet deadlines and standards
