Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join its Data & Analytics Competence Center. You will design and implement enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric on Azure, enabling reporting and advanced analytics across multiple domains.

Responsibilities include building scalable data solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring security and cost efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Fluent Polish and Poland residency are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
Knowledge of Azure services: DWH, Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL Database, etc.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Strong security, networking and identity management knowledge on Azure.

Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise data solutions for reporting and analytics.
Work with structured data across multiple domains (finance, manufacturing, sales).
Design scalable data platforms on Azure leveraging Fabric, Data Lake, and Databricks.
Create and maintain data models and schemas for business needs.
Optimize solutions for performance, cost, and security.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
Stay up to date with Azure technologies and best practices.
