Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center in Poznań. You will design and implement enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Data Lake, and Azure services, enabling advanced analytics and reporting.

You will lead data solutions across finance, manufacturing, procurement, and sales, mentor junior engineers, and stay current with Azure best practices to ensure secure and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of Azure data engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure.
• Fluent Polish required and residing in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level data solutions.
• Work with structured data across finance, manufacturing, procurement, and sales.
• Design scalable, robust Azure data platforms with Fabric, Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data solutions.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance in Azure architecture.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot data issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions aligned with business goals.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay updated with Azure technologies and best practices.
