Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center. You will design and build modern data platforms, integrate enterprise data sources, and enable advanced analytics and reporting on Azure.

You will work with Python and SQL, implement scalable data solutions on Azure, mentor junior engineers, and stay current with Azure technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Azure DWH, Data Lake, and Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform designed to ensure consistent data availability for reporting, application, and analytical use cases.
• Work primarily with structured data, including financial, manufacturing, procurement, sales & marketing, pricing, and so on.
• Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data solutions on Azure, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT processes, and other data processing tools.
• Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas to support business needs.
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance are maintained across the Azure architecture.
• Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data solutions that align with business goals.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Azure technologies and best practices.
