Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center in Warsaw. You will design and implement data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, integrating enterprise data sources and enabling advanced analytics.

Responsibilities include building scalable Azure data solutions, optimizing performance, and mentoring junior engineers while staying current with Azure innovations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platforms.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with PySpark and Azure data services.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and identity in Azure.
• Scripting/automation using PowerShell or ARM templates.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Fluent Polish and residence in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise data solutions for reporting and analytics.
• Work with structured data across finance, manufacturing, procurement, and sales.
• Design scalable, secure Azure data platforms using Fabric, Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Create and optimize data models and schemas for business needs.
• Improve performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data solutions.
• Uphold security best practices and Azure compliance.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely support.
• Collaborate across teams to align data solutions with goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster learning.
• Stay updated on Azure technologies and best practices.
