Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center in Poland. You will design and build modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and ETL/ELT processes to enable reporting and analytics.

The role focuses on Azure architecture, data modeling, security, and scalable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and stay current with Azure technologies.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platforms.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
Excellent Python and SQL programming skills.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Strong knowledge of Azure data services and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level data solutions on Azure.
Design scalable, secure data models and schemas for reporting and analytics.
Build data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes with Fabric, Databricks, and Python/SQL.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in data engineering.
Stay up-to-date with Azure technologies and industry trends.
