Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center, focusing on Microsoft Fabric on Azure. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade data platforms, enabling advanced analytics and reporting across domains.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, designing scalable data models, and ensuring security/compliance in Azure architecture while staying current with Fabric and related tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with Azure DWH, Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL Database.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell or ARM templates.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise data solutions for reporting and analytics.
• Work with structured data including financial, manufacturing, procurement, sales, and marketing.
• Design scalable data solutions on Azure using Fabric, Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost.
• Ensure security and compliance across Azure architecture.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot data issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster learning.
• Stay up-to-date with Azure technologies and best practices.
